During the tour featuring the original lineup, Peter Criss departed the band, and former member Eric Singer stepped in for the remainder of the Japan tour. This also marked the final Japanese performance for guitarist Ace Frehley as a member of KISS. The show captured here was the second of five performances on the Japan tour; it features a powerful set at the Tokyo Dome, highlighted by Ace Frehley’s exceptional guitar work, making for a highly enjoyable and well-executed live recording. Regarding sound quality, the source is of a very high standard. While the label describes it as a \"line recording,\" there are moments where audience noise can be heard quite closely—making the exact nature of the source slightly ambiguous—but the recording offers consistent, high-quality sound with excellent instrument separation and clarity.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"PHOENIX","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67901826924843,"sku":null,"price":54.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1009\/0846\/6475\/files\/1_151edb5c-f415-4b08-9dea-71d498ff5808.jpg?v=1793059235","url":"https:\/\/wmlshopjapan.com\/de\/products\/kiss-farewell-japan-tour-2001-tokyo-dome-2cdr","provider":"WML Shop","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
